Snowboarding

Me and Jayne (xxx) went for a snowboarding lesson last monday.
We started to learn the basics of how to stop ourselves sliding down the hill using the heel and toe.
I’m so glad we did the taster lesson as it would have been a lot harder had we not had that initial go on a board.
We both really enjoyed it and when my back gets better we will be taking another lesson.

My app went from “Waiting For Review” to “In Review” today, shouldn’t be long now!

I submitted this game to the AppStore on the 22nd April, it’s now the 28th April and it’s still “Waiting For Review”, not even got to being “In Review”
Waiting sucks, but it’s part of the process.

I went snowboarding yesterday, it was just a taster lesson but it gave me a great taste of whats to come. I really enjoyed it and will be doing it again.

I am going Snowboarding this Sunday. Me and the lovely Jayne are off for a taster lesson.
That should give me an idea if I want to do more of it and if I’m any good.
Jayne has done some before, but I’m all new to this. A Snowboarding virgin, if you will

It’s going to be a great day, any day with Jayne is a great day regardless of what we are doing.
She makes me so happy xxx

I’ve created my Sudoku game and called it Sudoku Pure.
I am hoping to upload it to the AppStore in the next few days, if I can figure out the certificate crap that Apple makes you do. So many hoops to jump through, why can’t they make it easier.

It’s been submitted, now the wait for Apple to decide if it’s acceptable for the iPhone. There shouldn’t be any problems (fingers crossed)

#10 Get a new tattoo (completed 20th April 2010)

Yup, got my new tattoo today.
It’s a dragon in a tribal pattern at the top of my arm that curls over my shoulder. It looks great, just need to go back in a couple of weeks to get it coloured in (well, black anyway)

Here is some more information about the items on my list

#1 Buy a classic car and restore it – I would love to be able to restore a classic car to full working order and learn exactly how it works.

#3 Buy a nice house – In a few years I hope to buy a lovely house for the kids to call home when they are with me. I’d love one with a huge garden and hopefully a tree as my daughter would love to build a tree house.

#8 Do some voluntery work for a charity – I love helping others and this would be a good way to help people out

#12 Get out more often with friends for drinks – When I got into my last 2 relationships, I kinda lost contact with a few very close friends and since then I have made an effort to keep in touch with them. I know that I won’t let that happen again.

#27 Have people round for drinks, movie and games – Pretty much for the same reason as #12

#37 Meet Jason Statham – He is my all time favourite actor and I would love to meet him

#51 Swim with sharks – I would probably be in a cage for this, but to be so close to some of the best killers in the world. wow.

#52 Take first aid classes – I would like to be able to know what to do if a situation arose. If one of my kids was in an accident I would want to know exactly what to do.

#59 Invent something – I’ve always got ideas ticking over in my brain, I’d love to invent something (hopefully, something useful too)

#79 Go camping – Just for the basic-ness of it. Just a small tent in a field, pub near by. sorted!

#89 Help sick children – Like I said earlier, I love helping others and I hate the thought of children being ill, hurt or abused. I’d like to do something to help them out.

I’m going to describe my thoughts about why I have chosen some of the things on my list.

#7 Do a parachute jump – This is something I’ve always wanted to do, I imagine it’s the closest thing to natural flight I’m likely to achieve, to be free like a bird. Sounds great, plus the adrenaline rush will be wild

#10 Get a new tattoo – I had my first tattoo about 15+ years ago and loved it, I’ve got 4 in all and I’m going to see a tattoo artist soon to discuss another one. I have a small chinese symbol on my right arm that I think is just too small so I’m hoping to get something bigger to cover it up

#15 Go hanggliding – Very similar to doing a parachute jump, lots of freedom in the air, flying about.

#22 Go to a shooting range – I’d love to find out how good I am with a gun, this would be the perfect way to find out.

#29 Learn a martial art – I used to do Thai Boxing quite a few years ago and I really enjoyed it, I’ve tried Karate and Mixed Martial Arts but think I’d like to start Thai Boxing again. This will help with my fitness levels greatly

#31 Learn to draw – I have the upmost respect for people who can draw freehand and would love to learn this skill.

#35 Learn to snowboard – I’ve always fancied doing this and as it’s on my list I think I will. Jayne is going to take me to somewhere that does taster lessons so I can get a feel for it before dropping a large lump of cash to learn properly. Cheers hun xxx

#40 Race a sports car on a race track – I’ve always wanted to race a sports car round a track, I bet it’s so much fun.

#48 See the Grand Canyon – What can I say, this would be amazing to visit and maybe even camp out there too.

#54 Walk on fire – I’ve seen this done on TV and I would love to give it a try

#70 Build a tree house – This one is for Emily, when I’ve asked her what kind of house she’d like me to get, she says that she would love one with a tree in the garden so we can build a tree house

#85 Deliver a baby – How amazing would it be to bring a new born baby into the world

#93 Shower in a waterfall – Can’t get much closer to nature than this.

#99 Play with a baby Tiger, Orangatan, Gorilla, Lion and Bear. – This would be an amazing one to achieve, I love Orangatans, very intelligent creatures and so much fun too

#102 Save somebody’s life – I’m always the first person to offer help if it’s needed, it would be amazing to save someones life.

#116 Have a fight, in a boxing ring – I think I’ve only ever had one fight in my life, and that was at school. I’ve been punched by some stupid drunks but never retaliated, they couldn’t punch hard anyway so it wouldn’t be fair. It’s just something that I’ve never done that would be best in the controlled environment of a boxing ring

#121 Climb a Tree – Yes, I have climbed hundreds of trees, but as a child. Not climbed many as an adult and I would love to get that same feeling again.

#135 Bungee jump in New Zealand/Australia – I used to watch a program many years ago called hi-5 that had all sorts of extreme sports on. One this I remember was the worlds highest bungee jump (it was back then) into a pool of water, where your head dips below the surface.

#141 Do a Base Jump – I know this is very dangerous, but it’s something I’ve seen others doing and looks so much fun.

#148 Have more children – I have 2 beautiful daughters and I love them to bit. I would love to have more children, not sure how many. I’ve always wanted a big family.

#150 Go on an adventure holiday – This would probably help cross a few off on my list in one go, I might be going on one later in the year, thanks to Jayne, so we’ll see
